Introduction To Sales A La Carta

Hi, I’m DC and thanks for dropping by Sales a la Carte! It’s my hope that you’ll find help in the specific areas of sales you’re looking for without the large investment of purchasing an entire new program.

I started in sales right out of high school at a retail paper store in El Monte, Calif. In just a few years I was married and shortly after we started our own Alarm/Security company. A divorce took care of that venture, and what ensued were decades of sales, sales management and sales training. I realized over the years that there were some very big names in the sales world. Zig Zigler, Tom Hopkins, Jim Rohn and of course, Tony Robbins. And though I learned something from all of them, I never felt like I wanted or needed to recreate a whole new me using someone’s program. I always felt I just wanted help in certain areas. I was better in some, worse in others. I Worked for and with some national companies as well as some smaller ones, learning and teaching practices policies and procedures along the way.

So, in creating this site, I based it on individual modules for specific areas of the sales process. From Preparation, to Follow-up, and everything in between. Please browse my modules, Blogs, Podcasts and Newsletters. I’ll be adding more of each on an ongoing basis. So, check back when you can!

Each Module contains a video of it, a script for study and a test with a Master Answer sheet on a variety of sales and management topics you are able to access. They’re great for general knowledge, sales tips, meetings or just answering questions you may have.

In-person help is available as well, on a case-by-case basis depending on needs and logistics.  And after looking through the modules we offer, whether you checked 1 area, some areas, or all the boxes, you’ve found a place to help you get to the next level.

Now, everyone knows something about sales. And everyone sells. Like when you and a friend or relative disagree on where to go for dinner. You want Pizza, they really think Tofu sounds good. Let the selling begin! Even as children, when we wanted a thing, or to go somewhere special, we started selling, bargaining. It’s what we do. It’s how we are. So, just like those examples, sales reps…sell. Some better than others. It’s just a fact.
